Chatbox is a chat app for desktop and mobile. It connects to the gateway as an OpenAI-compatible model provider. Checked against Chatbox v1.23.5.
Chatbox splits the address into a host and a path, so you enter the host without /v1:
| API Host | https://api.oneaiapikey.com |
|---|---|
| API Path | /v1/chat/completions |
Add the provider
- Create an API key under API keys.
- In Chatbox, open Settings → Model Provider and add a provider.
- Give it a name (for example “Relaykit”) and choose OpenAI API Compatible as the API mode.
- Enter the API host and API path from the table above, and paste your key.
- Add the model ids you want, for example
claude-haiku-4-5andclaude-sonnet-5-5. Copy them from the models table. - Click Check, then start a chat with one of the models. The request shows up on your usage page.
Troubleshooting
- 404 on check: the host already ends in
/v1and the path adds it again. Remove/v1from the host. - Model not found: the id must match the models table exactly, including dots and dashes.
- 401: the key was pasted with extra spaces, or it was revoked.
