> Add the gateway to the Chatbox desktop and mobile app as an OpenAI API compatible model provider, then add the model ids you want to use.

[Chatbox](https://chatboxai.app) is a chat app for desktop and mobile. It connects to the gateway as an OpenAI-compatible model provider. Checked against Chatbox v1.23.5.

Chatbox splits the address into a host and a path, so you enter the host **without** `/v1`:

| API Host | https://api.oneaiapikey.com |
| --- | --- |
| API Path | /v1/chat/completions |

## Add the provider

1. Create an API key under [API keys](https://oneaiapikey.com/console/keys).
2. In Chatbox, open **Settings → Model Provider** and add a provider.
3. Give it a name (for example “Relaykit”) and choose **OpenAI API Compatible** as the API mode.
4. Enter the API host and API path from the table above, and paste your key.
5. Add the model ids you want, for example `claude-haiku-4-5` and `claude-sonnet-5-5`. Copy them from the [models table](https://oneaiapikey.com/docs/models#current-models).
6. Click **Check**, then start a chat with one of the models. The request shows up on your [usage page](https://oneaiapikey.com/console/usage).

## Troubleshooting

- **404 on check**: the host already ends in `/v1` and the path adds it again. Remove `/v1` from the host.
- **Model not found**: the id must match the models table exactly, including dots and dashes.
- **401**: the key was pasted with extra spaces, or it was revoked.
